Chattanooga Summer Micro Wedding

Chattanooga Summer Micro Wedding

St. Augustine Catholic Church + The Westin | Chattanooga, Tennessee

What a beautiful day for Emmy and Nick’s intimate Chattanooga summer micro wedding! You may remember Nick and Emmy from their Downtown Chattanooga Engagement Session!  Isn’t their love story the cutest? Their story continues! This Chattanooga Mico Wedding started out at St. Augustine Catholic Church surrounded by their closest family and friends. The room was filled with happy tears as they exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as husband and wife. Then, after some speedy bride and groom portraits, we headed down Signal Mountain to The Westin Chattanooga for their reception in the Junior Ball Room. One of my favorite parts of their wedding day was watching them run down the street towards The Westin. Apparently lots of people saw it happening because Nick and Emmy were asked a few times why they were running! ha!

Have you ever heard of a micro wedding? You may start hearing the term A LOT more. COVID has really wrecked a lot of traditional special weddings, but brides and grooms are getting creative and carrying on- way to go guys! Micro weddings are essentially a SUPER condensed version of a full wedding day and typically have less than 20 guests. Typically wedding days are usually 8-12 hours long. Micro weddings are less than half of a full day!
